The APA pipeline had been struck by debris from flooding in 2022 and was isolated to local areas, effecting close to 20,000 properties.

WB initially contracted to make-safe the residential connections and reinstate gas supply to properties in Bathurst, Wallerawang, Lithgow and Oberon which were affected by the outage.
